"I took this picture when I was living in Chiang Mai, Thailand and teaching English to monks at a Buddhist University. I was surprised to find when I walked into the classroom that the monks were presenting on the theme of things that were "Kick-Ass". Later I learned that the monks had picked up this saying from an English-speaking backpacker who had visited their temple. From their presentations, I learned that the monks thought many things were "Kick-Ass" including waterfalls, meditation, and speaking English"
